Motor neuron pathways (Pyramidal and extrapyramidal tract)

●Extra-pyramidal system include

1- Tecto-spinal tracts

•Lateral tecto-spinal tract function: it's responsible for visual reactions

•ventral tecto-spinal tract function: it's responsible for auditory attack and reactions

○ So if damage occur, they will lose their corresponding function

2- Reticulo-spinal tracts:

•Lateral: crosses to the opposite side

○ if damage occur, lose its function at the opposite side

•Ventral: passes in the same side

○ if damage occur, lose its function at the same side
