🍃Stages of Death:

-Somatic death : which is irreversible

cessation of all vital functions.

-Molecular death: which is death of the cells occurs few minutes to few hours after somatic death.

🍃Molecular life:

the period between somatic and molecular death during which organ transplantation may be done.

🍃Auscultation of heart and chest over period : 5 minutes

🍃ECG in death: Flat🍃cortical death (persistent vegetative state):-Severe brain damage affecting the cortex with intact brain stem . -the patient has stable circulation and spontaneous respirationبيكون بيضحك وياكل عادي بس!! :“unaware of the self and environment”

🍃Apnea test is done to detect Brain stem reflex🍃

💗GR:

🍃 Softening of the anterior chamber of the eye in death.

✨ due to stoppage of aqueous secretion and drop of intra-ocular pressure.
